Data protection and the security of your personal data are important to us, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data to which we have access.
We, the Controller — also referred to as “[Controller]”, “we” or “our” — would like to inform you below about the type and scope of the processing of personal data when you visit and use our website.
This policy also includes information about your data protection rights, including the right to object to some of the processing carried out by Landbell. You will find more information about your rights and how to exercise them in the section “Your rights”.

2 Data we collect and process through this website, purposes of processing, and legal bases

Simply by using our website
Your visit to our website is logged. Initially, mainly the following automatic log data transmitted to us by your browser is collected:

• the IP address used by your PC or router
• date and time of the request, including the time difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
• browser type, version, and language
• operating system of your PC
• the pages you view
• access status / HTTP status code
• name and size of the requested files
• and, where applicable, the URL of the referring website

These data are collected solely for security reasons, to improve our website, and for error analysis. As we pursue legitimate commercial interests when processing your personal data for these purposes, we base this processing on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you use our contact form
Personal data — for example, your name, address, or contact details — that you voluntarily provide to us, e.g., in the context of an enquiry by email to the contact persons listed on our homepage, will be stored and processed solely to correspond with you and for the purpose for which you provided them to us. We may therefore use your information to provide you with products and services that you have requested, where applicable (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We may also process your data to respond to comments or complaints you send us or to send you information about products and services offered by us, our subsidiaries, and carefully selected partners. As all of this is necessary for the conduct of our business and serves our legitimate interest, we base these processing activities on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. With regard to the sending of direct marketing communications, you have the right to object to such processing. You will find more information about this right in the “Your rights” section below. If you give us your consent, we may process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for direct marketing by email or telephone in relation to our relevant products and services, or other products and services offered by us or our subsidiaries.

If you register on our website
You may register on our website to use additional functions, for example, to use our web portal as described above. We use the data entered only for the purpose of providing the corresponding offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration is marked with an asterisk in the data field and must be completed in full; otherwise, we will reject the registration. In the event of important changes, such as service expansions or other technical changes, we will use the email address provided during registration to inform you.
The processing of the data entered during registration is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as it is necessary to pursue our legitimate interest in providing additional services to registered users.

If you subscribe to our newsletter
We offer you the option of subscribing to our newsletter via the homepage. We will only send you the newsletter if you give us your consent; the corresponding processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. To subscribe, we need at least your email address. To ensure that the newsletter request was made by you or from your email address, you will first receive a confirmation email. Only when you click the activation link will you be added to our mailing list. The subscription is logged for verification purposes — IP address, date, and time. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us directly or by using the link at the end of each newsletter.

4 Recipients of personal data
Your personal data may be shared with other Landbell Group entities where responding to your enquiry or providing the requested service requires the involvement of other group companies. Outside Landbell Group, data will only be disclosed to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of a contract and/or its technical processing; in relation to the website, this includes our providers responsible for sending the newsletter and for hosting and maintaining the site.
When we outsource these activities, we ensure that your data is managed in accordance with the GDPR. This includes ensuring that, where information is transferred outside the EEA to a third party or provider in a country that is not subject to an adequacy decision by the European Commission, the data is adequately protected by the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission, an appropriate Privacy Shield certification, or the provider’s Binding Corporate Rules for Processors.

5 Your rights
In accordance with Articles 15 to 21 GDPR, you may exercise the following rights in relation to the personal data we process, provided that the conditions described therein are met.

5.1 Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR). You have the right to be informed about the personal data concerning you that we process, and to receive a copy of the data we hold about you.
5.2 Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR). You may request the rectification of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data.
5.3 Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR). You may request the deletion of your personal data, in particular where one of the following grounds applies:
• Your data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed.
• You withdraw the consent on which the processing was based.
• You have exercised your right to object and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or you have exercised your right to object where your data is processed for direct marketing purposes.
• Your data has been unlawfully processed.
However, the right to erasure does not apply where it conflicts with the legitimate interests of the controller, for example:
• where the personal data is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims;
• where deletion is not possible due to retention obligations.
If the data cannot be erased, there may be a right to restriction of processing — see below.

5.4 Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR). You may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in the following circumstances:
• you contest the accuracy of your personal data and, as a result, we verify its accuracy for a period;
• the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the data and request the restriction of its use instead;
• we no longer need the data, but you need it for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims;
• you have objected to the processing of your data pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR and it has not yet been determined whether our legitimate grounds override yours.

5.5 Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that the processing is based on your consent — e.g., Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — or on a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — and is carried out by automated means.

5.6 Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, including profiling based on those provisions. Where your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes without your consent and on the basis of our legitimate interests, you have the absolute right to object at any time to such processing, including profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing (Art. 21(2) GDPR). In that case, the personal data will no longer be processed for direct marketing purposes.

5.7 Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR). If you have given us your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw it at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal will not be affected. We may continue to process such data on another applicable legal basis, e.g., to comply with our legal obligations.

5.8 Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). If you have not received a response from the DPO within a reasonable period or the response is incomplete or unsatisfactory, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR. Such a complaint may be lodged, in particular, with the supervisory authority of the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

6 Standard periods for data erasure

6.1 If there is no legal retention provision, the data will be erased or destroyed when it is no longer necessary for the processing purposes described above. There are different retention periods for personal data, for example under tax or commercial regulations. Finally, the retention period may also be based on statutory limitation periods under the applicable national laws.

6.2 Data collected during registration will be stored for as long as you are registered on our website and will subsequently be erased after three years, calculated from the end of the relevant year.

6.3 Where we process personal data for marketing purposes or with your consent, we will process it until you ask us to stop processing and for a short period thereafter, to allow us to implement your request. We also keep a record of your request not to send you direct marketing or process your data indefinitely so that we can respect your request in the future.

6.4 Where we process personal data for website security purposes, we will retain it for 12 months.

6.5 Where we process personal data in connection with the performance of a contract, we will retain it for the period required by the applicable retention regulations.

7 Changes to this Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to amend and update this Privacy Policy where necessary to reflect current circumstances. We therefore recommend that you review this Privacy Policy/Data Protection Statement periodically to stay up to date.
